When we are in crisis after hours tells us " do you know how many other abused and neglected children are needing homes right now?" When I have a teen threatening to harm everyone in the house and the cops can't do anything until the teen hurts someone.
Parenting plus classes,...we need to have this accessible online for those who have to work during class times and Saturdays...30 hrs is nearly an entire work week of time ,I would lose almost a weeks pay for a single person , single income home. Also no daycare for this...starting times not great...pick up from daycare, then who ? And where do I take her since DLR and the wac's have decreed we have no common sense...oh , what...there's that grey area that still can get you a referral...I know...My sw referred me because she didn't the person watching my little one (daycare worker)...because the person told her she didn't know her ,and would not give her any information until that person talked to me. Frustrating!!
Having to deal with two social workers who with two social workers who just want to do what is the least amount of work for them, not what is best for the children

ReplyDeleteI am not going to re-license because of all of the class hours that we need to re-license.
